Syriatel Marks Syria's First AI Infrastructure Deployment with aixplain
Syriatel has announced a partnership with aixplain to deploy Syria's first advanced AI infrastructure, an Arabic-first system that will serve more than 12 million subscribers across the Syriatel network. The two companies marked the agreement at LEAP in Riyadh.

Why this partnership matters
Syria is entering a new phase of openness and digital rebuilding, and the infrastructure decisions made now will shape what the country can build on for years. This deployment is the first advanced AI infrastructure in the country.
What makes it different is that Arabic is not a translation layer bolted on at the end. The capabilities are Arabic-first at the core of the design, running at the scale of a national network that already reaches more than 12 million subscribers.

The memorandum was first signed in Damascus and then formally ratified in Riyadh, closing the loop between where the technology is being built and where it will be deployed.
